g platform services and increasing its global footprint, the team is taking the Zscaler multi-tenant architecture from innovative idea back in 2008 to today's cloud security leader, with more than 15 million users in 185 countries.Job DescriptionResponsibilities/What Youll Do:Developing and owning components of a large scale distributed system with a keen sense for high performance and scalabilityTroubleshoot issues with a hawkish acumenWork with Operations and Support (when needed) to help keep a healthy cloud and happy customer and at the end of the day display accountability and sense of ownership of areas assigned to you.QualificationsProficiency in programming languages CStrong in Algorithms and Data StructuresStrong software design, profiling, and verification skillsStrong in fundamentals - High-performance Computing, Event-based programming, Multi-threading, Memory optimization, Fault Tolerance etcSound knowledge of FreeBSD or any Unix systems internalsGood understanding of distributed systemsVery good debugging and troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with Perl / Python is desirableMinimum 3-8 years of experience required in similar or related technologyProficient in design/code reviews and preferably in writing automatable unit and integration testsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter, takes initiative & ownership, identifies and completes tasks; goal drivenAbility to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
