Perform the evaluation and certification of new information protection products/technologies including cloud based technologies.
Research encryption technologies as they apply to use in public clouds, and develop documentation that will contribute to the bank's public cloud cryptographic standards.
Perform hands on engineering, testing and technical support for the evaluation/selection and implementation of Cloud encryption technologies specific to various public cloud platforms
Participate in interactions with encryption technology and cloud vendors towards ensuring that vendor product engineering is in line with the policies and security requirements of Wells Fargo Understanding of requirements and use cases from internal technology and Line of Business partners
Coordinate with the vendor engineering and development teams to ensure security gap identification that fails to meet Wells Fargo security policies are resolved quickly and effectively.
Capable of creating technical/engineering documentation and extensive technical reports.
Participates in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for technologies listed above.
5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
4+ years of information technology applications and systems experience
5+ years of Red Hat Linux (or Amazon Linux, or other leading Linux distributions) or UNIX experience
5+ years of Windows Server experience
5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience
2+ years of experience with engineering/support of private or public Cloud technology, specifically Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
2+ years of experience with supporting, or strong conceptual understanding of, data encryption technologies and/or infrastructure
Must have intermediate systems engineering experience in medium to large Enterprise environments.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology or related streams.
Experience with any cloud platform, including applications utilizing cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox etc.
Experience with security technology/product evaluation, proof of concepts, testing, etc.
Good knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and encryption key life cycle management, BYOK cloud key management, Cloud HSM.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, with specific experience supporting encryption technology, and encryption key management.
Familiarity with Java, Python, C#, API Calls
Knowledge of and experience with Reverse Proxy and Process Automation
High level of competence with Microsoft Visio
Strong understanding of or experience with encryption key management and information security policies
Strong understanding of Information Security industry best practices
Intermediate knowledge of scripting and automation Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Proven written and verbal communication skills with both Business/Management and Technical/Engineering resources
Knowledge/Skills/Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
Must be organized and have rigorous attention to detail
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and handle challenging end users professionally
Ability to perform on-call and work after business hours as assigned
