Firm understanding of SEO best practices and Google quality guidelines. Up-to-date knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Great ability to work as a team – able to take direct SEO guidance and implement it when requested, but also knows when to challenge SEO requests with supporting data

Have excellent knowledge of the content-focused side of SEO. You’ll know your page titles from your meta descriptions, and you’ll understand what types of content are needed to target different parts of the acquisition funnel.
