Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed production reports and distribute them to key user departments and management for informed decision-making.
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities at our manufacturing plant(s), ensuring smooth operations.
• Monitor input-to-output material requirements and movements, consistently meeting quality parameters.
• Oversee all levels of team activity and performance to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Analyze production data to proactively identify and resolve production and quality issues, enhancing overall efficiency.
• Develop and implement processes aimed at increasing productivity and improving overall plant performance.
• Regularly inspect and ensure the proper functioning of plant equipment, arranging for repairs or replacements when needed.
• Ensure that all company policies and procedures are consistently followed by plant personnel.

Requirements:

• A proven track record in plant operations management is a must.
• Engineering qualification with 10 years or more of relevant experience.
• Experience in the wood industry is highly preferred.
• A solid understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to plant operations.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and adept at troubleshooting operational issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong grasp of computer technology.
• Familiarity with the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial attributes, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure smooth plant operations.
