Job Description
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing/delivering engineering deliverables for product sales, Customer acquisition, and Servicing solutions that include Core Applications (Life Asia), CCM Solutions, Underwriting Engines, Workflow,
Middleware Integration with Front End/Mobile applications etc.
Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech-Delivery- Leads and other technical team members to define the technical design for Product Launches, Post-launch product features build, Enhancements, and other new project initiatives
Responsible for technical Solutions to meet demand and guide junior IT members in the team
Oversight of Core Application deliverables for Product launches, Post-launch features, customer acquisition, Servicing and Middleware Integration
This role will be one of the SME for Core application Initiatives
Partnering with business product owners to drive Product and proposition target or Customer Service deliverables
Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
Building relationships with Delivery leads, other Engineering team members and business users across the organization. Being able to engage and articulate the technical solution across the team is critical to this role.
Contributes to the overall Policy Admin System architecture and design, providing best practice guidance and patterns.
Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the industry verticals is critical for implementation.
Maintaining a complete awareness of the Insurance/Financial industry's latest updates and developments allowing you to support/suggest appropriate solutions for user needs
Task driven. Be able to control and commit to the agreed timeline
Finalizing the best technical solution for the business needs
Recommending proper solutions for any issues/challenges faced by users
Requirements:
Deep understanding of Life Policy admin's features and functionalities
8+ years of Insurance/Financial Industry experience with a minimum of 5 years of Supporting Core Policy Admin systems (LifeAsia, Life 400 Integral Life) and knowledge of Surrounding applications like underwriting engine, Front end / mobile applications, and workflow.
Good experience in omnichannel Integration
Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
Knowledge of integrating with other surrounding applications around core applications like Sales Portals,
Workflow and underwriting engines.
Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset paired with strong communication skills.
Very good conceptual and analytical skills and a high motivation to define process automation.
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment
Experience in application integration middleware (e. g., MuleSoft) is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology.
Professional Certification(s): CRM, CCM, Cloud, Agile certification (Preferred).
