Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, the Shop Assistant is responsible for basic Shop Work (door swings, side venting, appliance detailing) and general warehouse duties. The position will be focused on maintaining daily shop work completion, ensuring smooth daily operations, and assisting with escalations as required.

This role is based out of Trail's Warehouse facility on Annacis Island, and Builder Warehouse warehouse as required.

• Basic mechanical work on appliance alternations
• Daily completion of shop request workload
• Appliance detailing after mechanical repair completion
• Assist inside Technicians when required

• Able to prioritize work activities effectively and appropriately
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
• Able to interact with new employees and managers in various departments and resolve common concerns through problem solving
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to document details and carry out tasks with minimal direction and supervision
• Knowledge of the parts and service industry
• Strong mechanical and problem solving skills

• $19.89/hr
