ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE:
The Associate PMO Analyst partners with Project/Program/ Team Managers, Internal and External stakeholders for the successful delivery of their products, projects, programs and portfolio.
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Ensure preparedness for upcoming launches
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Produce insightful reports and ensure that status reporting is fit for purpose, complete, timely, accurate, and communicated effectively
Capture risk based on the inputs from PM’s, Team Managers. Monitor and track risks and issues
Effectively use tools like Microsoft office (word, Excel, PowerPoint), SmartSheets
Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
Responsible for the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and process.
Support the successful delivery of programs undertaken through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting.
Develop, implement, and track various IT projects and activities.
Work as a single point of contact from the IT side for tracking and reporting on all projects and operational activities.
Coordinate with various functional teams, vendor/partner/SI to get timely updates and ensure adherence to plan schedule.
Ensure rigorous follow-ups on project activities with concerned stakeholders. Arrange periodic reviews and ensure key points are captured and tracked.
Get into the technical details of project activities, understand the pain areas and ensure that issues are flagged and resolved in time
Capture specific details discussed during meetings and reviews and ensure that the same are converted into action points and tracked further. Should own all action points to closure.
Capture business requirements and translate them into technical action points for further tracking.
Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards
Conduct Project Team meetings and situational analysis regularly to ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders
PMO Analyst responsibilities when providing project support include:
Supporting the definition of small/medium project Business Cases (scope, goals, deliverables, costs, timescales, plans, dependencies, resource requirements, and milestones)
Ensuring pre-scope project plans are communicated to all project stakeholders together with their individual responsibilities.
Providing effective management support to project teams on small to medium-sized projects, or assisting Project Managers on streams of other large projects
Coordination of publication, review, and sign-off of major Project Management deliverables
Ensuring project plans are created and maintained, deliverables tracked against time and cost, and resource utilization is monitored
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project to the Project Board and all stakeholders
Coordinating quality activities to meet quality objectives. Managing project risks, issues, and change control, communicating the impact to the project
Monitoring projects against time, budget, and quality standards.
Identifying the location of support to resolve technical issues, effecting the transition into support, and formally closing off the project
Conducting or contributing to post-implementation reviews and identifying any lessons learned Feeding carry-forward items back into the programmed plan.
Skills and Requirements:
Proficiency in MS-office tools
Experience in managing project financials and reconciliation
A Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) may be advantageous
A minimum of 5 years experience in the Industry, 3+ years of experience in PMO
Strong leadership skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and technicalities
Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
