CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

SpaceX's rapid growth and busy manifest has created a new opening on our Customer Operations and Integration team. A Customer Experience Specialist will be instrumental in providing consistently world-class support to our mission management team and customers. Working closely with Mission Management, this role will track contractual milestones and manage customer property, as well as support our customers at our launch sites.  This role will require the ability to represent SpaceX effectively with customer representatives. Travel may be required to support operations at other SpaceX locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement a process for tracking customer property and manage execution and ongoing support of the process.
• Work with NASA LSP Mission Management team to coordinate and support customer forums, boards, and reviews to ensure that deliverables are delivered on time and per the customer’s expectation.
• Work with Rideshare Mission Management to support Rideshare customers, including onboarding, documentation updates, and invoicing.
• Own customer experience at Vandenberg launch site, including coordination of transportation, badging, catering, swag, and any other customer required items.
• Manage projects and execute to tight timelines while effectively communicating to and influencing stakeholders.
• Relentlessly and creatively drive process improvements that help SpaceX and the Mission Management team serve our customers well (meet contract obligations, fly safely and reliably, and more).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree.
• 1+ year of project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with PowerBI and/or SQL.
• Experience working in a fast paced, start-up environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding organization, time management, and resource management skills.
• Exceptional ability to problem-solve effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Possess a positive attitude and remain flexible in an ever-changing environment.
• Ability to participate in developing project scope, managing project schedules, and following up with stakeholders appropriately.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:

• Must be willing to travel to other company sites, vendors, and customers as necessary.
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to pass Space Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:     

Pay range:      

Customer Experience Specialist: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00/per year.    

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

• To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
