PositionOverview:

Customer Finance(CFI) at Siemens Healthineers, North America is looking for a motivated and apositive-attitude intern entering their senior year or master level to jointheir rotation program for assisting the quote to booking (QTB), CreditCollections (C&C), Pricebook management (PBM), Lifecycle management (LCM),Enterprise Service Finance (ES FI) and Customer Supply Chain Finance (CSC FI)teams. This 2-year rotation program, via a combination of co-op andinternships, will provide an opportunity to learn and contribute in 3 of theabove departments within CFI for 8 months each. Positions are based in Malvern,PA, Cary, NC, or Walpole, MA and will be virtual until further notice. Students will be required to be on-site whenworking.

How the ProgramWorks:

The student wouldwork full-time during the summer and on extended school breaks; and would beexpected to commit to a regular part-time schedule (approximately 10 - 20 hoursper week) during the regular school semesters.

The student willwork in three different areas for 8 months each and will get great exposure todifferent opportunities by learning several facets of the customer financeoperations within this large medical device company. Their contributions to the business will besignificant, and we see those who successfully complete the program to be afeeder pool for our open positions in these areas upon graduation. Studentswith an aptitude for and interest in general business administration will dobest in this program.

Responsibilities(depending upon the rotation and location):

• Supportactivities associated with the creation, review, analysis, editing, escalation,and approval of CRM quotes. Includes ensuring compliance with all pricingguidelines, GPO/IDN contract terms and value adds as applicable, profitabilityanalysis as applicable, government coding as applicable, exception management,compliance to the escalation and Limits of Authority policies. Document allactivities, decisions, approvals, timelines within quote. Consult with leadspecialists on quotes to ensure accuracy.
• Supportactivities associated with the validation of new contracts and orders includinggathering of required contract and configuration documents and receipt ofrequired approvals and signatures.
• Performall activities from pre-booking to booking for new orders and contracts. EnsureMEA accounting & financial processes are followed per guidelines. Facilitate timely, seamless handoffs to CSCFI, including all required documentation.
• Identifydata transmission issues between CRM and SAP systems as needed. Consult withlead specialists to resolve.
• Prepareand review financial models and presentations with middle and seniormanagement.
• Engageand contribute towards backlog and revenue management with the CSC FI team.
• Ensurecompliance with all finance, accounting, and quality policies.
• Verifythat financial & legal terms of customer contract are accurately reflectedin SAP contract. Accurately entersinstrument orders in SAP.
• Ensurecomplete and accurate (both contract and non-contract) pricing is in place forcustomer upon shipment of instrument.
• CreateService contract in SAP to support current service processes for newinstallations. Ensure uninterrupted service coverage is evident (servicecontract maintenance) on agreements with bundled service.
• Monitorinstrument shipment to ensure accurate contract start date (sets compliancedate).
• Ensureall coding in SAP is complete and accurate to facilitate financial reporting.
• Assistthe C&C team in the wide range of activities to review and support theC&C processes.
• Supportthe ES FI team on multi-million-dollar transactions in financial planning andanalysis.
• Developmentand support of customer/project income statement and balance sheet positions.
• Trackingand monitoring of customer assets and inventory levels.
• Supportand tracking of margin improvement projects at customer sites.
• Supportaccounting treatment of multiple performance obligation multi-year contracts.

Education:

Current juniors/risingundergraduate Seniors or Master level students enrolled for Business,Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and/or related field.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills:

• Workingknowledge of all new MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
• Completedbasic courses for Accounting, Finance, Marketing or Business
• Strongwritten and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, ability towork in a fast-paced team environment
• Goodorganizational skills and self-initiative
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Must beavailable to work full time during the summer and term breaks and part time(10-20 hours per week) during the academic terms

Start date: ASAP; 24-month duration.
