Where you fit in
The team, Software Engineering, is responsible for the delivery of software, which may include new development, configuration, maintenance and installation of third party packages, and software integration efforts. It may include tasks from every part of the software development lifecycle, including software and website design, development, programming, and software deployment (both the installation and decommissioning of software).
What's the role
As a ServiceNow Development Lead (ITSM) within a growing Agile DevOps team for ServiceNow, you are expected to strongly advocate the ‘right’ ServiceNow architecture solution.
Your further responsibilities will include the following:
Assess & screen new ServiceNow demands or solutions from ITSM area in discussion with the CPO (Chief Product Officer) or Product Owner/Delegate PO.
Lead a team of ServiceNow developers to architecturally design , build , deploy ServiceNow new solution within ITSM space.
Lead a team of Operations engineer to assist and provide trouble-shooting help with ServiceNow issues within ITSM applications.
Lead a team of ServiceNow Testers to exercise manual/ATF testing for new solution or defects.
Work closely with the RTE (Release Train Engineer)/Scrum Master to drive release agility.
Participate in Daily scrum calls and other Sprint planning exercise.
What we need from you
Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline.
5-8+ years of total experience, preferably with 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM.
Experienced ServiceNow ITSM implementation expert and have thorough development solution knowledge within Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLA Mgmt., Service Request, Catalog Management., CMDB/Asset Management, Reporting/Performance Analytics).
The role requires strong software engineering skill within and deep knowledge of ServiceNow advanced scripting techniques (Client Script, Business Rules, UI Policies, ACL, Platform, Portal, Upgrades/Cloning).
The role also requires the individual to have thorough knowledge of designing and building technical Integrations (Integration Hub, Rest API, , SOAP) in addition to release pipeline (CI/CD pipeline).
The candidate has to be champion within IT Service Management processes (ITIL 4).
Certified System Administration (CSA) certification is mandatory.
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS ITSM) is certainly good to complement.
Good for the individual to have expose to other ServiceNow applications such as ITOM, ITSM, SecOps, GRC, Scoped App, HRSD.
Experience working through ITSM demand management and jointly working with Product Owners/ Delegate PO is essential.
This role also requires the individual to have excellent team management skills and cross-functional coordination across developers, testers, and operations engineer.
Candidates who have 30-40 days' notice period are preferred.
