Full Stack Developer - Java/AngularJS (Platform Application Services - Ariba)

Summary

As a Senior Developer, you have the opportunity to accelerate the innovation and delivery of the SAP Ariba products. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build the next generation UI for Ariba cloud applications. You will work on internet scale level problems and complex business problems leveraging latest client-side and Ariba Cloud technologies. To succeed in this position, you should be passionate about the user experience, security, scalability and be very results-oriented to get things done.
 
The Role
•    You will be member of the Platform Application Services (PAS) team in Bangalore, SAP Ariba. 
•    Write design specifications, and subsequently implement and unit test the software
•    Work closely with product managers, architects, user interaction designers, and QA engineers.
•    Presenting ideas for system improvements and building POCs.
•    Assist in customer adoption of new features.
 
Role Requirements
•    B.E/B. Tech – Comp Science or MS in computer science with minimum 4+ years of Software Development Experience
•    ~4+ years of experience in designing and coding web-based applications and microservices.
•    Good command on design patterns and designing enterprise applications.
•    Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles
•    Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles
•    Solid command of OOD principles with skills in core Java. Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot and REST based Web services.
•    Experience in Enterprise web applications. Ability to understand problems in software, debug and fix
•    Has a good understanding of as many of the following areas as possible: AngularJS, UI5, jQuery, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, web development frameworks
•    Having BTP, UI5 experience is added advantage.
•    Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to read and code review complex code bases written by others
•    Experience in designing flow diagrams, integration diagrams and complex interactions. 
 
About the team
We are known as Platform Application Services (PAS) team in Ariba. PAS team running multiple innovation programs which will add value to customer satisfaction and report major customer pain points. Along with solving core customer issues we also committed to provide good user experience. We are working in rapid development mode to accomplish our vision for 2023. As part of our 2023 vision, we have stack of new innovations in pipeline, which need to be executed. Team is distributed across multiple geographical locations-Bangalore (India), Palo Alto (USA),  Pune (India). Every member in team holds an important role in team and we are super excited about our vision.
