Quality Specialist (T2) – SAP Business Network 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Business Network represents a strategic investment and fast-growing area, with a strong and leading cloud portfolio and other innovations on top of SAP Cloud Platform. Covering multiple locations around the world, we bring together a diverse team of talents from program management, product management, development and production operations.

Our vision is to build the next generation Unified Business Network. We are bringing all our business networks together to create a network of networks, a network of intelligent enterprises, to enable a new way of how companies engage with each other. Our Unit’s roadmap includes bringing together the existing networking solutions like AIN, LBN and Ariba Networks into a single business platform and leveraging on their respective capabilities.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• You will be working in a cross-functional team with special focus to quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process. Your responsibility as Quality Engineer in the scrum team include:
• · Support in building end to end customer solutions developing ideas and promoting innovative business scenarios to address end to end quality
• · Understand software requirements, write test cases and perform manual testing
• · Develop and execute the test automates
• · Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
• · Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
• · Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems
• · Analyzes test results (issues) and takes appropriate follow-up actions

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· Degree/master’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent subject with 5+ years of experience as Quality Engineer

· Technical understanding of JAVA Selenium and various test automation solutions with scale infrastructure test frameworks setups with out of box thinking

· Understanding of cloud enabled data centers deployments for SaaS applications

· Knowledge about development environments and tools like Git, Maven and Jenkins

· Proficient in at least one of following automation testing tools Selenium, Postman and/or any state of art UI and backend test automation tool; Defect management tools Jira or SAP BCP
