Summary
As part of ECS Delivery Technical Operations the Database Services Team is responsible for enabling Database Technologies and operating them at maximum efficiency. Beside project delivery and day to day administration we are part of strategic pilot projects for new technologies as reference for other customers. Teams provides stable operational support for customer Database landscapes for their critical business systems.
For the Delivery Center in India, we are looking for an IT Technology Services Specialist with a strong technical background for supporting critical projects & administration in the Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery environment. Beside administration we are part of pilot projects for new technologies as reference for SAP customers.
 THE ROLE:
You will be responsible to drive continuous improvement in order to increase operation, availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption is another important part. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential within the new Enterprise Cloud Services program.
Your role will be Data Analytics Sr Specialist driving critical topics related to ECS Database Technology Area for all kinds of Analytics requirements and automation aspects.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MS / MCA fulltime with > 65%
8 to 14 years of relevant work experience 
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
•    Over 10+ years of work experience as Data Analytics involving Data Modelling, Reporting, Data Massaging etc.
•    Exposure to the automation tools /scripting or processes
•    Expertise on leading development tools and methods are a pre-requisite.
•    Knowledge & experience in SAP BI Tools
•    Knowledge on any of the Databases like SAP HANA, SAP ASE etc
•    DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, high availability and disaster recovery strategy, export-import etc.
•    Should be able to develop & drive independently the Analytics requirements, Visual Dashboards, analysis report etc.
•    Must have a strong drive in helping reduce the manual efforts in Landscape reporting
Cloud knowledge (e.g. experience of working in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP) is desirable but not essential. Good to have Professional Certification of Database Platforms with exposure to Project Management tasks including PMP and ITIL certification.
