Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Become a trusted owner of the company's order-to-cash process
• Manage the company's accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Credit control - you will reconcile incoming payments for all customer accounts and follow up on any outstanding debt
• Work closely with the COS & Business Operations to provide financial data and analysis for reporting and decision-making
• Manage and improve the company's Management Information System (MIS) to provide accurate data
• Analyse financial data and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor cash flow and manage the company's budget to ensure financial stability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and financial institutions.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Experience with QuickBooks / Zoho is a plus
• Experience in a product startup or similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
