Job Description & Summary
A career in our Forensic Consulting Generalist practice, within Fraud, Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients understand where they might have vulnerabilities and develop solutions to manage the risks involved. We prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.
Our forensic specialists provide solutions and support for clients dealing with regulatory and crisis situations. As part of the team, you’ll help provide support to our clients who wish to investigate potential financial crime, support clients responding to regulatory enquiries, deal with cybersecurity breaches and provide expert advice and opinions in legal proceedings. You’ll also help clients review and remediate systems and controls to prevent further issues.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Handling both preventive and detective fraud detection related aspects
Proactive (Preventive) and Reactive Forensic investigation and evaluation
Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/her
Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge and an ability to assimilate new knowledge
Possess good business acumen and stay up to date on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
Key skills:
Should have strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem solving approach
Adaptability to a dynamic environment often accompanied by shifting priorities and stringent deadlines
Good understanding of IT systems, knowledge of MS office ( MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc)
Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions
which may demand extended working hours. Ability to work well in teams
The role would be client facing and will require travel within the country and overseas
Education and Experience:
Qualified Chartered Accountants (July'22) Freshers
Prior experience in Forensics, Internal Audit or Statutory Audit will be an advantage
