Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing a robust and scalable continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to automate the software development process.
• Designing and maintaining the infrastructure required for running applications, including managing cloud-based resources, server configuration, and container orchestration.
• Collaborating with software development teams to understand their needs and requirements, and designing and implementing solutions to meet those needs.
• Creating and managing monitoring and logging systems to track application performance and identify issues as they arise.
• Developing and implementing security best practices to protect the applications and infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Maintaining and improving existing systems and processes, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Mentoring and coaching other members of the DevOps team, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the DevOps industry, and recommending new tools and practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.

Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience in creating, implementing, and managing the infrastructure and processes that allow software development teams to efficiently build, test, and deploy their applications
• In depth knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Expert in Kubernetes containerised applications architecture
• Expert in Infrastructure as a service and related technologies such as Terraform, Ansible
• Experience in building platforms to help developers build, share, and run modern applications.
• Expert in building CI/CD pipelines and related technologies such as Jenkins.
• Strong in Unix / Linux administration and management
