We are looking for an application developer with strong technical skills to join our team located in Bangalore. The team is part of a global Sales IT development organization which implements and extends Oracle Sales Cloud, used across Oracle's 20,000 strong global sales organization. We build innovative applications focused primarily on Sales Territories and Activities, to support and drive Oracle’s business while showcasing the latest Oracle technology along the way. We are looking for a self-starter who is challenged by complex technical problems and thrives in an agile environment.
Enhancing and developing custom applications under CRM space.
Implementing and Supporting Oracle products for Oracle's internal customer
Using extensibility framework to customize Oracle Sales Cloud according to internal requirements
Testing new software releases
Transitioning IT support for new releases/features to DevOps
We are looking for
4-7 years development or implementation experience with Oracle Enterprise applications or any CRM vendor
An understanding of key sales automation and territory management concepts would be a benefit
A strong desire to experiment with new technologies and find out what can be done by trying
Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
An enthusiastic and energetic team player who can also work well independently
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical problems and ideas to management
Flexibility when working with global and matrix teams
BE or ME in Computer Science or related technical field
Agile development experience
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
