Role

As Associate Software Engineer, you will implement solutions for various projects in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with product and marketing managers, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

Job Responsibilities

Ability to understand the functional and non-functional requirements, design a solution and implement the design after an architect has reviewed it.
Analyze risks and escalate problems in meeting system requirements.
Ensure software development is compliant with industry and Company-specific standards, policies, and processes.
Ensure the application meets quality standards, including functional and non-functional (performance, security, usability, etc.) requirements.
Actively contribute to and participate in knowledge-sharing ceremonies, such as technical workshops, brown bags, and hackathons.
A quest to experiment and learn new technologies for newer product areas while being open to making changes in the legacy code and identifying improvement opportunities.
Desired Technical Skills

Mastery of Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Programming, including complete software development life cycle.
Exposure to OOPS concepts and C#/VB programming.
Exposure to version control management tools such as SVN, Git, etc.
Experience in SQL, and relational database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 is required. Exposure to MS-SQL is a plus.
Working knowledge of multiple programming languages, JavaScript, XML, JSON, various design patterns, implementation, and testing tools.
Expertise in developing high-performance, dependable, and secure, and scalable applications.
Exposure to Angular or ReactJS.
Experience with Crystal reports is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Desired Business Skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and put ideas into a tangible form.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Scrum or other agile development methodologies.
Experience

0 to 2 years of experience in a Software Developer role.
