The System Administrator is responsible forinstallation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware andsoftware and related infrastructure, including end-user systems

Building and deploy new servers on the network as needed.

Coordinating with engineering, business application, and databaseadministration functions to implement desktop and server systems that utilizeindustry best practices to meet corporate objectives.

Deploying workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls,encryption systems, and appliances security systems.

Supporting capacity planning and the development of long-termstrategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users

Managing virtual and physical servers ofWindows, Linux and other Open Source Operating Systems

Skills :
Experience in configuring and running Microsoft DHCP and DNS services.

Good to have a working knowledge of IP Telephony.

Working knowledge of PC/LAN application software including wordprocessing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel) and E-Mail (MS Outlook).

Strong working knowledge of managing multiplelinked databases to include security, data safety and integrity, disasterrecovery, and development of bulk data import/export procedures.

Qualifications :
Bachelorsor Masters degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience

Experience :
Minimum 6-9 years of experience in SystemAdministration

Working knowledge of LAN and WAN topologies and architecture.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft server, Microsoft ActiveDirectory and Microsoft email systems.

Working knowledge of Server and PC operatingsystems - such as Windows and Linux Operating Systems

Others :
Performing and test routine system backups and restores.

Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and correct hardware andsoftware issues on servers, and workstations. Escalating incidents asnecessary.

Practicing server asset management, including maintenance of servercomponent inventory and related documentation and technical specificationsinformation.

Recommending, scheduling, and performing software and hardwareupgrades, patches and reconfigurations.

Managing the physical environment of the server racks including cablemanagement, documentation, labeling, and configuration of switching for consoleand remote access.

Managing and defining access controls over NASand SAN storages
