We are looking for a Senior System Software Engineer/Architect working on kernel device drivers and virtualization on the cutting edge ARM processors. This engineer will work on kernel and IO virtualization design and performance optimization.
What you'll be doing:
Work on decomposing top level use case requirements into technical requirements.
Design and develop stable and safe driver software for above requirements.
Working on safety specific platforms and ensuring regression free design and implementation.
Use conventional & out of the box approaches to challenging virtualization, security and safety problems.
Work with teams across time zones to ensure all work is done as per safety processes and guidelines to be assessed against ISO26262.
What we need to see:
BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MS (or equivalent experience).
8+ years’ experience in embedded systems design.
Experience in SW lifecycle of Req, design, code and verification (preferably on embedded systems).
Excellent programming skills in C and C++.
Innovative approach towards problem solving with a keen eye on new insights.
Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive consensus on new ideas.
A strong teammate; self-motivated with positive attitude.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Hands on experience with ARMv8, IOMMU, ARM Virtualization extensions would be a positive.
