You will be part of the IT Source-to-Pay Solution Architecture team, and be responsible for several of applications that require Microsoft OLAP, Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, Oracle DB, Transact-SQL, Visual Basic, Unix Shell, and Java skills.
What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about developing solutions to complex business requirements? Our team is looking for an individual that has the functional and technical skills to manage new development from beginning (concept) to end (deployment/validation in Production). Managing new development may be as an individual contributor or as the lead architect managing others on the effort.
As part of our team, you will have responsibilities such as:
Develop databases enhancements, create reports, and manage specified toolsets.
Write complex Transact-SQL queries/stored procedures.
Analyze new source systems for incorporation into existing data warehouse/lake. Develop or specify interfaces, ETL (SSIS/ADF), enhance existing system to include new data sources.
Create interfaces based on remote system software protocols (Java, Unix Shell, Visual Basic, XML, etc.) to extract remote data. Build ADF packages to transform and load data.
Analyze data inconsistencies to determine data integrity issues. Investigate data quality problems and work to resolve (both internal data issues and external source data issues).
Manage issues, document, escalate as appropriate and ensure resolution either through process change/tool adjustment or through IT break/fix funnel
Troubleshoot system issues including Cloud activities: BLOB storage, Storage Accounts, DEV OPS, Azure Active Directory.
Your skills and experience
You have:
5+ years DBA experience with SQL Server 2019 Enterprise
5+ years of experience in supply chain or IT application support/development
3+ years of experience as Data Architect /System Engineer
3+ years of experience with large databases (greater than 500GB and more than 300 tables)
Unix experience + shell programming + some troubleshooting
It would be nice if you also had:
Cloud implementation experience
MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) certification
Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript/object language knowledge
General networking knowledge
Understanding of CMS (Content Management System) like Liferay, Drupal, and WordPress
Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
An understanding of Kimball data warehouse methodologies
