Today, we are having a combined manufacturing capacity of ~ 5000 MTPA where over 50 chemicals are getting produced for various end industries i. e., personal care, pharma APIs, polymers, fragrances, agriculture, etc. With a presence across diverse specialty chemical value chains and multiple production facilities, we are a one-of-a-kind and highly reliable one-stop-shop supplier to customers across the globe. We have been funded by a global Tier-1 venture capital fund (Lightspeed Venture Partners - $10B+ AUM fund and early investors in Oyo, Byjus, and Udaan) and have several renowned thought leaders and opinion shapers from the chemicals industry as advisors.

Responsibilites:

• Lead the global sourcing of categories for timely and high-quality delivery.
• Build and manage a team of 2-3 people for driving the sub-activities for the category such as supplier identification, evaluation, testing and samples approval, order management, and logistics.
• Manage supplier relations with suppliers to ensure the right supplier selection and contracting; and develop suppliers to ensure timely delivery, good quality, and suitable scale.
• Ensure tight adherence to the sourcing processes, review the key performance metrics, and highlight any risks.
• Support the demand team in closing customer deals through the finalization of chemical specs, pricing inputs, and quality clarifications.
• Work with other stakeholders - quality, logistics and demand team to ensure smooth execution of supplies from the manufacturer.
