Job Description
Overall ownership of the Analytics excellence delivery function across systems, processes and people
Leading a team of leaders (Senior Managers & Managers) in delivering reporting, analytics and advance analytics projects for internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for streamlining & standardizing the analytics delivery process across teams from multiple geos working closely with the market & other tech & engineering teams
Driving automation and adoption of industry best practices in terms of processes, tools, analytical techniques, etc.
Key contributor in actively pitching analytics driven solutions to clients that increases the analytics coverage in their media business
Responsible for driving key operational efficiency metrics for the team such as team utilization, throughput, % team effort allocated to top/bottom tier accounts, etc.
Responsible for overall resource management & capacity planning for the team
Responsible for creating highly engaged, motivated and productive teams
Plans hiring needs of the team in advance based on strategy, roadmap and business needs ensuring the team has right set of skills and expertise to deliver
Expected to understand the overall business, and keep up to date with recent trends in the analytics domain
Strong people managment experienceAnalytics expertise
Bachelors or Master's degree in engineering/computer science/Stats/Business/related field
Total analytics experience of 12+ years with consistently increasing responsibility
Experience in delivering analytics driven services & outcomes in a global multi-geo setup
Domain expertise in marketing analytics/programmatic advertising is a big plus
Been responsible for taking critical people/process related decisions, weighing the pros and cons of different approaches, options and getting team and stakeholders to buy in on choices
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems and generate effective solutions
People Management Experience
People management experience of at least 6+ years with proven ability to lead other analytics people leaders (minimum team size managed directly/indirectly of at least 20-30)
Strong situational leadership instincts and abilities, including coaching and mentoring skills
Strong collaboration and influencing skills - able to give confidence to stakeholders on project planning and execution
Ability to set good goals and objectives, and write reviews for team members
Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority
