Job Purpose Leading ideation and creative design process across the department and review all designs to ensure quality and consistency of designs and ensuring its alignment with Misk’s image, culture and values..Responsibilities: 1. Strategy and budget· Develops the creative department’s strategy by translating Misk‘s strategy into a coherent plan and cascading it across the different streams and operational roles, while ensuring it is in line with other departments and entities.· Develops the Department’s budget in alignment to the annual business plan. 2. Content Development· Manages the development and execution of targeted communications material that are aligned to the organization’s needs, image, culture, values and behaviors.· Leads the generation of relevant content that engages targeted audiences and provides inputs within Misk on where and when to disseminate information regarding Misk’s plans and announcements.· Identifies opportunities to improve Misk‘s “Voice” based on the defined brand strategy in order to convey messages effectively while maintaining the brand image and brand standards.· Oversees the translation process in order to ensure the messaging and the tone of voice remains consistent and accurately reflects Misk’s brand image and related standards.· Deploys effective content management mechanisms and tools to build awareness on Misk’s tone of voice, style, structure, etc. and ensure consistency and effectiveness of internal and external communications. · Establishes and manages relationships with major third-party advisors, media and marketing agencies in order to support Misk in the development of marketing and communications material consistent with its brand policy. 3. Technical Advice· Provide technical advice to all Misk departments in adopting the organization’s One Voice strategy in all internal and external communications in order ensure effective and consistent communications across the Institute and in line with the organization's image, culture, values and behaviors.· Builds and leads a motivated, engaged and competent workforce throughout the department, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback to meet the company’s challenges and goals. 4. Policies, Processes & Procedures · Recommends improvements to departmental policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of the department so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective output. 5. Continuous Improvement· Stimulates subordinates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. 6. Related Assignments · Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.Qualifications & Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Design, Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.· MFA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from a recognized business school. · 6+ years of experience in a similar sector or industry
