Position is to lead and deliver on SLA’s for key security initiatives across critical functions in the Japan Information organization focusing on remediation of critical vulnerabilities across various platforms and infrastructures, monitoring of cyber threat incident, Data Loss prevention efforts, Application security etc.

• Infrastructure remediation services – External and Internal vulnerabilities, TLS, JAVA, Adobe and Microsoft patching
  • Remediate key vulnerabilities in external and internal risk areas to catch up and reduce overall Kenna score
  • Drive tracking and removing or upgrading key Java, Adobe, and Windows products to eliminate risk from out-of-date versions
• Global tools remediation (Windows, Firewall, PC encryption , AV )
• Application Security and Guardium upgrades
• Security operation log monitoring
• Focus on remediation/troubleshooting for fixing remediation issues
• Global workstations patching opportunities
• Develop scorecards and remediation prioritization / plans (PC Vs Server)
• Firewall Log denials and VPN recertifications
• Focus on Infrastructure vulnerabilities remediation – Internal and External
• Work of servers, windows/Linux infra using Microsoft SSCM
• Tanium deployments and upgrades

• Level 3 senior engineer in IT customer Service
• Level 3 senior engineer/Technical Lead in IT Managed Provider enterprise/global IT company
• To be able to find root-cause of an issue by isolating technical aspects from OSI layer 1 client PC to layer 7 application
• Solid experience with IT technical projects such as window server upgrade and Domain Controller upgrade/migration
• Hold current IT technical certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, CCNA, VCP
• Experience training Level 1 & 2 engineers and worked as a mentor for them
• Basic IT security experience/change management knowledge/incident response experience

Education

• 
  IT Graduate

• Total of 10 years of experience with atleast 6 years of experience in Information Technology or related areas
• Speaking, Writing and Reading Japanese will be advantage
• Flexibility to work in Japan Hours (6am IST to 3pm IST)

• 
  Excellent MS Office skills – MS-Excel and Business Powerpoint presentations is a must
• Excellent Communication skills
• Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements
• Flexibility in working hours and handling escalation and pressure situations
• Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally
