Responsibilities:
- Maintain real-time accurate records of all accounting and finance transactions in books of accounts
- Ensuring real-time Bank reconciliations
- Co-ordination with consultants, exchanges, and regulators
- Ensuring timely vendor payments
- Preparation of various reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assistance in getting timely tax returns and filings done for the Broking arm
- Improvising existing finance & accounting processes by continuously making it efficient and getting in automation
- Assistance in exchange and regulatory audits and inspections
- Experience in Finalization and closing of Books of Accounts
- Handling Quarterly Audit process
- Preparation of process notes and Standard Operating Procedures for all Finance and Accounts related processes
- Assistance in Budgeting and variance analysis
- Co-ordinating internally to collect data required for analytical purposes
- Preparation of reports as required from time to time
- Securing financial information by completing database back-ups
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Knowledge of the broking industry and business needs
- Proficiency in using accounting software
