Responsibilities:

• Maintain real-time accurate record of all accounting and finance transactions in books of accounts
• Ensuring real-time Bank reconciliations
• Co-ordination with consultants, exchanges, and regulators
• Ensuring timely vendor payments
• Preparation of various reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Assistance in getting timely tax returns and filings done for the Broking arm
• Improvising existing finance & accounting processes by continuously making it efficient and getting in automation
• Assistance in exchange and regulatory audits and inspections
• Experience in Finalisation and closing of Books of Accounts
• Handling Quarterly Audit process
• Preparation of process notes and Standard Operating Procedures for all Finance and Accounts related processes
• Assistance in Budgeting and variance analysis
• Co-ordinating internally to collect data required for analytical purposes
• Preparation of reports as required time to time
• Securing financial information by completing database back-ups

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
• Knowledge of broking industry and business needs
• Proficiency in using accounting software
