Administration of desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls, and anti-virus software.
Administer, manage, and maintain the Google Workspace such as email address and email group administration.
Administer, manage, and maintain the Google Workspace enterprise such as email address and email group administration.
Assist in the creation and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Participate in IT/cybersecurity audits by consultants or experts.
Escalate support issues to vendors when can not be resolved internally, follow up and resolve them in a timely manner.
Answer promptly to company chats, phone calls, or email requests for IT assistance or support needs,
Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing,
Able to explain or resolve issues to technical and non-technical personnel.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Masters /University degree or equivalent experience
