Job Description :
a) To ensure that recruitment and selection procedures and practice meet operational needs, legislative and good practice requirements.
b) To conduct initial screening of CVs and conduct initial telephone interviews.
c) To work with managers to develop the recruitment process, including interview guidelines and a standard questionnaire to establish whether the non-negotiable skills and experience have been demonstrated by the applicant.
d )To ensure that all job descriptions are in place and remain current and accurate.
e) To ensure all new employee administration is complete, filed and entered into Synergy; to include new starter paperwork, checklist, employment eligibility checks, offer letters and contracts
f) To manage the administration of all recruitment records, ensuring that these are complete, accurate and up-to-date
g) Research, implement and administer all company benefit plans.
h) Maintain all personnel policies and procedures and provide guidance and interpretation to staff
i) Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
j) Maintain knowledge of industry trends and make recommendations to Management Team and Board of Directors for improvement of organizations policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
k) Develop and maintain human resources systems that meet HRiA personnel information needs.
l) Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
m) Manage staff training/development program.
n) Identify and work with external HR consultants and attorneys on special projects as needed.
o) Maintain all personnel files.
p) Oversee performance evaluation procedures.
q) Act as back-up to Staff Accountant for payroll processing.
r) Serve on several internal committees including Worksite Wellness and Diversity
