JOB PROFILE / ROLE DISCRIPTION:
Relevant engineering experience required in RF/ Telecommunications/wireless industry, troubleshooting, optimizing, and designing wireless communications systems related to any of 2G/3G/4G/5G/ domains
Primary:
Strong knowledge in radio air interface, call processing technologies and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network (Specifically integration and interfaces to EPC core network, and architecture for implementation of Multi Carrier eNodeB, VoLTE)
Having Knowledge on RAN and e2e technologies (OPEN RAN, V-RAN, CRAN, DRAN)
Having good knowledge in overall Wireless systems with emphasis on L1, L2 and L3 Layer Protocol like PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers.
Having Knowledge on Open RAN Elements like ORU, ODU, OCU, CU-CP, CU-UP, RT-RIC and its element like ORU, ODU, OCU, CU-CP, CU-UP, G Nodeb.
Experience with product/network testing, development of Test Plan and Test Cases focused on RAN. Good know how of simulator tools and interpretation of simulation results,
Knowledge and Hands on Experience on Design, Development and Testing of Test System/Test Jigs for the Communication Products, Knowledge on verification and validation of software development
Knowledge and Hands on Experience on Design & development of rugged communication product, installation and configuration of drivers, application porting, testing.
Knowledge of Hardware Project/Product Life Cycle and Experience on working for Product Development.
Knowledge on installation and configuration of open source software and applications in Linux platform.
Secondary:
Should have worked in any of the LMR related technology domains DMR/ APCO/TETRA systems. Should have installed and commissioned TETRA networks.
Knowledge of Military/Commercial Standards like MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-1629, RTCA/DO-160, JSS55555.
