POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Operations & Pricing Analyst will be a key member of the Pricing and Contract Strategy & Operations team. Reporting to the team leader, and directly supporting the Business Operations team as well as senior leaders across the company, the Analyst’s primary responsibility is to leverage sales data to answer key business questions and unlock future opportunities. The Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business questions and the KPIs that drive them. This role will interpret and present results from multiple sources to all levels of the organization using a variety of techniques ranging from simple data aggregation to advanced statistical and predictive methods. The Business Operations & Pricing Analyst will work heavily in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other licensed software tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

• Work across the team and with other Kate Farms pricing & contract stakeholders to understand their core business challenges and utilize data to help uncover opportunities through the processes of data mining, mapping modeling and testing.
• Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel and proprietary software.
• Lead the effort to define the business requirements to evolve the maturity of the customer contract sales data in order to more efficiently report on performance trends and opportunities for growth.
• Analyze and interpret contract performance and find pricing optimization opportunities to deliver reports for customer business planning, quarterly business reviews, and executive summaries.
• Work closely with all members of the Pricing and Contract Strategy team to prioritize projects across supporting the company while also completing work with efficiency and accuracy.
• Complete ad hoc data requests for field account and channel leadership to help drive customer engagement and commercial growth.
• Work closely with Business Operations and Commercial leaders to help unlock the future of Kate Farms through company expansion into new sales channels and geographies.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields with 2-5 years of experience in Marketing/Sales Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research (OR), Consulting or other relevant field.
• MS is Data Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields with other work history or internships.
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel (nested formulas including: xlookup, sumifs, index/match, pivot tables, power query).
• Strong ability to translate complex business questions and data into meaningful visualizations using Power BI, Tableau or other visualization tools.
• Ability to tell and present detailed, but simple stories from complex data to all levels of the organization.
• Curiosity and ability to understand not just the “Why?”, but the “What now?” behind the data and trends.
• Healthcare, biopharma, supply chain, pricing experience preferred.
• SQL, Microsoft Visual Basic, or other programming experience preferred.

If the position applied to is not located in Colorado or NYC, the following information may not apply. Salary Minimum: $ 70,175 Salary Maximum $93,364. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Kate Farms salary range for this position. This range will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, internal pay alignment, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Kate Farms’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long- term incentives.
