Qualifications You must possess a Master's Degree in Electronics or Bachelors with at least 3- 5 years of experience. We're looking for a highly motivated, Pre-Silicon Performance validation and modelling Engineer. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: � Performance verification of CPU of micro-architectural features � Development of Performance validation plans , implementation of performance monitors and correlation of RTL against models. � Performance analysis of processor features on Simulation, Emulation. � Rigorously executing Validation Plans to ensure Right First Time Success of our Products. � Work directly with hardware architects, logic designers to influence overall CPU CORE Performance. Preferred Qualifications: � Solid understanding of system and processor architecture, and the interaction of computer hardware with software. � Experience with C/C++ is plus. � Experience in Processor and IP level performance verification/correlation. � Experience with Emulation platform. � System (hardware and software ) debug skills. � Strong background in scripting - PERL/Python. � Understanding of software and/or hardware validation techniques. Candidate should exhibit - � Demonstrate excellent Self-motivation, communication, strong problem solving and Teamwork/Behavior skills. � Set aggressive goals and meet/beat the commitments. � Flexible enough to work in a dynamic environment and multitask seamlessly. � Ability to work independently and in a team.
