Full Job Description
The Silicon team part of Programmable Solution Group in India is responsible for all the current and future transceiver products which includes high speed ethernet. The team is also responsible for next generation SMARTNIC development for top tier costumers in industry pairing with Intel CPU products. As part of the this role individual will be technically responsible for defining, executing and delivering the full SoC where one needs to work with various cross functional teams like Architecture, Boards, Software, Pre and post silicon Validation, IP teams, backend, technology and manufacturing teams. The individual will have to define the SoC microarchitecture by understanding the product requirement from architects and various IP and sub-system teams to meet all the product landing zone targets. This is the key role where individual needs to take full ownership key silicon landing zones like product feature set, Power, Performance and Area. The individual gets involved in the project right from the Architecture phase and owns the execution all the way from micro-arch to design to timing closure to tape-out to supporting the validation team for seamless silicon bring-up upto PRQ.
Minimum 12 years of experience in the area of SoC/full-chip micro architecture and design with solid focus on delivering the product across various tech nodes. Individual should have very good hold on SoC global functions like Clock, Reset, Power, Boot, Security. Must have good understanding on adjoining SoC functions like Functional DV, STA, Validation, FW/SW development, Boards, etc. Good understanding on various networking protocols like Ethernet, PCIe, High speed SERDES and packet processing, network security is desirable.
