Role Purpose: Technical person with business knowledge to manage new technology/project initiative
Key Accountability :
Responsible for IT systems, data, networks, support, IT infrastructure, and servers. Manages and coordinates all IT projects to meet the business needs. Ensures that standards and procedures are followed during design and implementation of information systems. Responsible for monitoring the systems and network to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance.
Operational Responsibilities :
Define and meet SLAs for business systems and network uptime
Manage operations; Define workflow for team that prioritizes event response and monitoring;Continuously improve monitoring and response and the security
Establish and manage incidents elevated from support team through prioritized work queue.
Project management :
Plan resource timing for involvement in departmental projects
Contribute to detailed project plans
Calculate and justify restrictions based on resource requirements
IT Change Control :
Lead improvements to compute, storage and application resiliency
Network performance and connectivity
System improvements; Work with other IT leads to develop and improve systems required to support the Business. Ensure that all the changes are following the change control process.
Team Management :
Perform timely and accurate employee reviews; Escalate formal requests that are urgent or falling behind
Fairly distribute exciting work that provides opportunity for professional growth
Take direct responsibility instead of downloading if things go wrong; Set clear expectations, goals and objectives for team members
