Spartan Technology Services and Solutions Private Limited is an integral part of IBM Business Process Operations and is providing end to end services covering policy renewal, query resolution using TPA services to its clients in the Insurance industry while ensuring best in class quality for their clients and communities. The group has dedicated compliance experts focused on ensuring data security across all transaction and aspects of an organization.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing a team processing issues on claims from beneficiaries such as spouse or declared annuitants of the policy.
Manage processes based on established performance standards, service & quality levels. Measure team overall performance (Productivity; Efficiency; Quality; Timeliness; Resource Availability; etc.)
Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.
Build capacity through resource planning, load balancing and cross training.
Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
Provide coaching for challenged team members and development for high potentials.
Ensure readiness of Business Continuity plan and lead implementation if necessary.
Manage and develops resources to take key positions as Process Coordinator. Helps teams execute career development plans.
Develop team members to take on additional responsibilities. Conceptualize and implement internal rewards or employee programs within the unit for retention & growth.
Contact point for the business on any issues and/ or concerns and proactively provide solutions.
Manage internal updates/communication within the unit.
Encourage people to contribute to company-wide initiatives and projects.
Enforce compliance to company policies and effect disciplinary measures on violations.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Possesses at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
With 5 years professional experience in Insurance industry and 3 years experience as Process Coordinator or Subject Matter Expert
Knowledgeable in MS products or similar tools/ systems
Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills
Organizational and time-management skills
Strong business operations knowledge
Good leadership skills and ability to motivate front-line employees; ability to lead and manage teams
Ability to prepare, analyze, and effectively use different MIS reports
Ability to work effectively across language & cultural barriers with US based customer
Experience managing in a multi-client environment

About Business Unit
Business Process Operations is part of IBM Consulting and is a key service area that cuts across service lines in Business Transformation Services including Customer Transformation, Finance & Supply Chain Transformation, Talent Transformation and Industry Transformation Units like Banking, Insurance & Healthcare.
This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date and proof of vaccination status will be required before your start date. During the Onboarding process you will be asked to confirm your vaccination status, in case you are unable to get vaccinated for any reason, you can let us know at that stage. Please let us know if you are unable to be vaccinated due to medical or religious reasons.
