Your Role and Responsibilities
The IT Admin for Guardium is responsible for setting up, managing and troubleshooting the Guardium virtual and physical systems required for Developing, testing and maintaining the Guardium family of products. Their duties include responding to system and software problems, network and application troubleshooting, updating system software, maintaining security compliance of these systems and applications as well as inventoty tracking of systems, software and licenses.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong Linux Experience including Linux Administration, RPM Installations, Deep knowledge of managing both virtual and physical machines in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of VMWare, Hypervisors along with VSphere Administrative tools.
Knowledge of IT Application Administration (e.g. JIRA, Postgres) Knowledge of Support ticketing systems.
Strong Troubleshooting skills a must.
Good interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux Internals, Windows and Linux IT Admin tools, shell scripting (e.g. bash, python, ksh, etc.) Security compliance, security scanning tools, hardware and software inventorying as well as continuous maintenance of a vast IT environment.
