We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Business Analyst:
In this role, you will:
- End to end project management & deliveries using DevOps & Agile techniques to ensure faster time to market for a team.
- Production stability should always be at the forefront and primary focus should be around ensuring any incidents, service requests, Problem records and events are acted on as a top priority.
- Own and manage IT & Business stakeholders for any Production issues.
- Introduce agile practices and ensure stories can be delivered more iteratively in sliced-and-diced manner.
- Drive Cloud strategy and implementation over and above managing infrastructure related demands coming in from time to time.
- Ensure toil reduction targets such as TPAM, alerts and events are at lowest possible levels.
- Ensure aspects of automation are brought in where possible. Focus should always around continuously be improving the reconciliations estate where possible thereby ensuring no repeat incidents.
- Ensuring that all Deliverables are planned, documented, agreed and implemented.
- Should be able to lead a team end to end from a delivery perspective and should be able to manage ITSO responsibilities across few instances.
- Drive Global Reconciliations projects deliveries across Global Recs and ensure effective partnering between stakeholders within and outside MSS Utilities sub asset class.
- Work along side strategic direction set for the teams and ensure adequate solutions are utilised by effectively managing competing and shifting priorities.
- Oversee the delivery aspects of global reconciliations team, which could expand beyond to given area and projects depending on shifting priorities.
- Act as 1st level of escalation point for any issue not remediated on time across Global Recs.
- DevOps. Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the deliveries, production support and other IT teams by championing the use of Agile and DevOps principles/methodologies. Identify key blockers and play a lead role in the removal of blockers and hence facilitate the implemenation of tactical and strategic solutions accordingly.
- Drive deliveries forwards whilst ensuring effective partnering between stakeholders.
- Work closely with sub-asset class level leads, project/delivery managers and SME’s to design, plan and drive strategy to support business requirement and function goals within policy, expense and regulatory constraints.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of SmartStream’s TLM Reconciliations software
- Strong knowledge and experience of the Reconciliations operations domain
- Have a strong understanding and experience of the IT Production environment, controls and related processes
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience of managing Senior IT and Operations stakeholders (GCB4 and above).
- Experience in driving medium to large sized projects/programs end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Handle any escalations coming from operations/business single handedly
- Have an agile mindset and drive the continuous improvement agenda.
- Bring in automation and innovative thought process in all aspects of delivery lifecycle.
Additional good to have Skills
- Experience in banking and finance domain
- Experience on cloud computing.
- Experience creating, managing JIRA board
- Hands experience with other technology suites such as Java, Python will be added advantage.
