You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the IS project management capability within Reiwa ERP Run scope. The Projects Department Manager has the overall responsibility to manage the internal and external Project Managers as well as the Project Management Office. He has to establish and manage relationships with internal service providers as well as external vendors. He is responsible for the successful implementation of ERP projects, including integration points with other company projects. He is also responsible for status reporting, issue tracking, risk register and project communication, of all projects in his scope of responsibility. Responsibilities: Supervise build and delivery of appropriate Services and Solutions in relevance to the department's practice expertise. Build and optimize local Project Management capacities and capabilities. Build and manage external Project Management capabilities to balance workload in Project Management work demand. Ensure service/support of the relevant practice within Reiwa ERP Run, supporting execution of requirements within budgeted costs and time schedule. Ensure demands adherence in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs), that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met, all within the department's practice competence. Ensure the installation / management / maintenance / optimization of internal IS and cross-functional processes related to IS Service delivery or IS Service demand. Ensure data quality in Global IS PM resource management system for local Resources. Ensure local IS PM resources competencies are updated and tracked in global PPM and resource management system. Establish processes, tools, standards and checklists to effectively manage the service delivery and to carry out effective stakeholder management. Support the effective delivery of the IT Service Organization in line with available budgets and appropriate timescales. Increase satisfaction with IS services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps. Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both Hitachi ABB Power Grids and the employee. Recruit and externally sources IS Project Managers. Ensure training planning and right level of coaching and mentoring for PM's. Assess IS PM Competencies. Supports resource mix forecasting and adjusts the pool resources to meet future demands. Your background: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field and project management certification. Minimum 12+ years including 6+ years of experience in line management, managing a team of project managers in a global complex environment. Prior perennial experience and knowledge of SAP or ERP deployment activities. Clarity/Open Workbench tool to determine how the intersection of multiple projects impact the critical path, baseline, resource constraints, costs and budget of the team. Able to model different mitigation plans in the Clarity/Open Workbench tool and make and recommendations. Able to extract the information from the Clarity/Open Workbench tool to analyze intersecting projects and team level allocations. Understands when to use MS Project data to supplement the Clarity data. Prepares a complex schedule within MS Project and manages timelines within tool. Able to use communication features such as Timeline, Gantt charts, etc. for stakeholder updates when needed. Very good communication skills, Influencing and negotiation skills, work with virtual teams in the International environment skills, People skill development, recruitment and coaching/mentoring. Ability to drive strong operational performance, ensure business continuity, manage conflicts effectively and deliver results. Be hands-on with a sense of urgency ensuring prompt involvement of various internal and external stakeholders ensuring business continuity.
