The Growth POD team is the Mid-office & face of Growth Operations for Sales & Marketing teams. This team acts as the trusted advisors to the frontline.
This role exists to help frontline improve their time in front of the clients and to make that time impactful. The role acts as a single point of contact to the Lead Client Partners and their teams for all their sales needs in the areas of sales planning and operations, implementing the go-to-market strategy and for business analytics and reporting.
The role collaborates extensively with various departments of the organization thereby driving the overall sales efficiency to -
Standardize and Streamline the Sales Management Process
Support the Vertical Priorities with creation and execution in the business
Enable the Vertical Growth teams (TS, Strategic deal, Growth leader) in improving Business and its health in the vertical
Partner with Field Marketing Lead to enable GTM planning & execution
Partners with our Cloud sales organization in developing go-to-market strategies, providing business critical insights using analytics, ensuring cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.
Facilitate the deal through different steps of proposal planning, shaping, building, refining, submitting and bid defense. Help the team build the final bid results in collaboration with Genpact leadership and all other partners across G
Give insights to deal pursuit – such as findings from similar past proposals, industry challenges, and G differentiators
Support solution development by chipping into proposal storyline and business case, Tower wise solution consolidation, understanding and supplying to the commercial construct
Facilitate research through research team. Information and data gathering to insights generation into our - key accounts, markets, competition, Client CXOs
Detailed market assessment, sizing and market intelligence studies; Regular research into Vertical/Account related strategic/tactical developments
Identifying client specific issues/situation, developing hypotheses and possible solutions; bring together and research data; develop pertinent and thoughtful analysis; support in presenting findings and recommendations to end clients to drive sales conversations
Be the strategic partner and help in identifying new growth areas by demonstrating and coordinating with the entire ecosystem
Enable the adoption and cadence of sales governance. Driving conversations on lead management, Deal and pipeline reviews
Conducting performance management and analytics to come up with relevant insights for Sales and business Leaders
Driving demand generation initiatives across multiple channels to generate incremental pipeline and drive net new sales
Support the GTM Strategy & Sales team, by providing thought leadership & other Growth Ops services to the Cloud Sales Leadership and cross-functional leaders, and jointly with them, develop the market’s business plan and go-to-market sales strategy and gain the required support to execute programs
MBA or equivalent from premium institute
Shown experience in sales strategy/planning/operations with pre-sales-related experience working with global clients
Excellent MS office skills - Excel, PPT, Word
Strategic bent of mind with influencing and negotiation skills
Positive relationship building skills and customer-service orientation
Proactive and Self-starter with inclination/drive towards sales
Must be able to work independently and collaborate efficiently across functions
Ability to work in a multicultural, multi geography environment
Experience working in Cloud GTM, Strategy & Planning.
Understanding of sales tools like SFDC, Power BI or equivalent
Ability to drive business priorities pervasively in all sales teams and geographies
