Geneva Trading is seeking a talented Junior Software Developer with an interest in gaining insights into the FinTech domain and trading industry, developing and enhancing automated market-neutral strategies, acquiring a thorough understanding of trading systems, and designing real-time software. This is a temporary position seeking a candidate who can commute to work on-site in Cyber City, Gurugram.

The ideal candidate will have a strong financial markets background, experience in developing automated trading strategies, and a passion for programming. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and build a career in a dynamic environment with potential for role extension or full-time conversion. Your responsibilities will include:

Write code to find and validate new opportunities, optimize research infrastructure pipelines, and extend interface to work with live/historical data seamlessly
Support team in building tools around live strategies, including messaging to send automated signals to the strategy; manage pricing, analysis and execution streams to help find end-to-end optimizations
Partner with team in building a generic back testing framework for Java; including modules to replay prices, strategy back testing and integration testing

Our interview process consists of a phone screen, technical assessment, technical interview, and a final interview with the team. This role is temporary and on-site to allow for direct mentorship and collaboration with a member of our Digital Assets Team.

What You'll Need

Tech, B.E., B.S. or M. Tech, M.E., M.S. degree in computer science or related field
Past internship/full-time experience in trading industry not required; preferred
Programming skills in Python required; Java, Python, C, and/or C++ preferred
Practical understanding of CS concepts in the following areas: Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Database Management Systems
Exceptional problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
Passion for FinTech, trading industry, and innovation
