Tendering Engineer with Good Power system Protection and Substation Automation Knowledge with Fair understanding of Commercial Terms and Conditions with 5-8 years experience
Roles and Responsibilities
Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (Techno - commercial Offer proposal against Customer Enquiries and tenders) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team. Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies. To include 'ITO': Technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products; scope (description); schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures. Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases. This also includes OTR part where engineers work on customizing the products and implementing it for specific customer needs
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

In this role you will make techno-commercial proposals as per the Tendering Process guidelines and to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analyze the given enquiry / tenders, make techno-commercial proposals
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
Follow the Tendering process guidelines.
Interact with Sales team for Techno-commercial queries.
Attend techo-commercial meeting with Customers.
Market price Analysis.
Assure proper documentation / storage of technical commercial data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with Tendering policies and procedures
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an accredited college or university with minimum 5-8 years of experience & Knowledge in Power System and Substation Automation
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
To Demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
