We are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer for delivering enterprise products/solution for Imaging. As part of this dynamic and growing team, you will be responsible for requirements analysis, designing, programming, delivering and maintaining software applications & services along with required documentation. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure

Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions

Work with Product Manager, Architect & Tech Lead to understand product/solution requirements

Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of technical requirements, user stories and support in building a well-groomed Product backlog

Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen

Work with other cross functional teams to align activities and deliverables

Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products

Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques

Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with min 5 yrs. of experience.

Desired Characteristics

Extensive experience in software development, scripting

Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Java, Angular (>2yrs.), AngularJs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

In-depth knowledge of Algorithms and data structure

Knowledge on Spring security

Knowledge on PowerShell automation

Knowledge on Microservice and Cloud platform

Knowledge on load balancing techniques and scaling of applications

Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc

Proven work experience in an agile environment

Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI)

Understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle

Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Business Acumen:

• Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
• Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team
• Displays understanding of the project's value proposition for the customer. Shows commitment to deliver the best value proposition for the targeted customer
• Learns organization vision statement and decision-making framework. Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision
