Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. â€¢ Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts 2. â€¢ Answer questions about products or the company 3. â€¢ Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales 4. â€¢ Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed 5. â€¢ Enter and update customer information in the database 6. â€¢ Take and process orders in an accurate manner 7. â€¢ Handle grievances to preserve the companyâ€™s reputation 8. â€¢ Go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales 9. â€¢ Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
