Full Job Description
The ideal candidate should be very strategic where he/she is able to take the current
IT infrastructure to the next level by coming up with business proposals and
implement those in a timely manner. The candidate should be able to lead the team
on day-day-day IT operations and drive business value.
Key Accountability & Responsibilities:
Data Center & Server Management, Installation of servers (physical / virtual),
Performance tuning, Load balancing, patch management, upgradation /
migration of server setup.
Sound knowledge of e- mail solutions like Microsoft Exchange, Edge server’s
configuration –management and operation.
Active Directory (AD), DNS setup, configuration and migration / upgradation.
Exposure to firewall & security solution , configuration & maintenance
Handling of IT Infrastructure / Network of 350 plus users and multiple branch
offices. Hands on experience in configuration / management of router,
switches etc. Good to have exposure for MPLS / Leased lines.
Storage and Backup management with tools and schedules.
Should be able to manage small team of hardware engineer (L1) and mentor
it for critical issues and taking ownership for solutions
Enforce IT Policies/Security – Operation policies across domain for
Optimization of IT infrastructure with innovative solution with cost benefit
Ensure availability of IT service 24x7x365 with proper BCP (Business
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech / Any Bachelor degree with good academic background.
10 + year experience in IT Infrastructure Management
Excellent communication skills.
Sound technical knowledge in Server Management, Windows Platform, Active
Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, Hyper-V to support IT infrastructure
consist of 350+ users and branch offices.
Hands on experience in the above-mentioned technologies, security product
administration (CISCO, Symantec, McAfee, RSA, Commvault, EMC2
Hands on person with details orientated and analytical ability.
