EY’s Technology Transformation (TT) – Strategy practice is seeking well-qualified, experienced IT Strategy practitioners at various levels (Senior Manager, Manager and Senior). Our technology practice is recognized by industry analysts as a leader in leveraging business and enterprise architecture to drive strategic business transformation through enhanced IT capabilities. We serve clients across all major industries and work with organizations of different sizes, helping guide them to achieve business success while delivering strategic IT value. Our practice currently has 300+ professionals worldwide and is rapidly growing to meet increased client needs.

Your key responsibilities

We are currently seeking IT Strategy practitioners for TT’s Strategy team who can be positioned at the crucial intersection of business, technology and industry to devise creative new strategies based on trends, insights and data. • reset, reimagine and re-think their business and operations with tech-enabled, cutting-edge solutions that re-energize performance across the enterprise
• set and drive enterprise tech vision and strategy in alignment with corporate / business unit strategy, customer focus and solution teams
• drive increased value from technology spend with focus on optimizing cost, design, governance, performance, and vendor landscape
• offer leading-edge platforms for businesses to optimize their functions in IT service management and IT business management, HR services and governance, risk and compliance
• guide through enterprise architecture as well as architectures for applications, data, and infrastructure to select technology vendors, providing guidance on complex issues such as the interaction between solution components to work toward a successful outcome and deliver performance, security, and scalability

Your responsibilities include:

• Understanding the business strategy & vision and translating them into enterprise wide technology vision & strategy in alignment with strategic priorities for growth, customer experience, efficiency etc.
• Analyze value chain and processes and information along domains of Research, Development, Technical Development and Operations, Commercial, Corporate and Enabling functions.
• Clear understanding of business objectives, KPI’s, capabilities, business processes and information required to deliver the business outcomes
• Ability to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, representing them for enterprise while enabling IT to deliver relevant and incremental value to business outcomes by aligning the IT deliverables back to business outcomes to drive higher yield.
• Assess the impact of the business strategy on the business architecture landscape, including organization, information, infrastructure and applications
• Create business architecture / capability models that help clients to realize their strategy & vision with technology-enabled solutions. Lead the creation of blueprints and roadmaps for complex and large transformation engagements
• Have strong experience in analysing business models, business model innovation/ incubation, and experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: Market Strategy, Pricing/ Monetization, Finance, Ecosystem Management, and/ or Product Management
• Ability to analyse business capability model and business processes to identify optimization opportunities through tech-enabled solutions
• Ability to analyse client’s (IT) Operating Model including the organization structure, processes and governance while developing recommendations and/or creating actionable roadmaps
• Significant experience in: 1) developing business capability model for the enterprise; 2) analysing enterprise-wide portfolio of systems / platforms and 3) function as guardian of the transformation strategy and business architecture to make sure that new initiatives comply with strategic priorities
• Solid experience in guiding our clients through large, enterprise-wide transformation to implement their strategies and business architecture. Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the IT strategic and improvement agenda related to:
  • Technology strategy and operating model design
  • Design and implementation of transformation projects
  • Architecture including enterprise, business and systems
  • IT service management optimisation
• Cloud strategy and execution
• Be a trusted advisor on 'innovation' with ability to frame key business and technology trends within the context of the client's objectives. Ability to identify the potential implications and impacts of the associated trends.
• Leverage EY’s global network, and leverage the cross-functional expertise to develop relevant architecture insights

Within the team, your role will include the following additional responsibilities:

• Interact with CXO level stakeholders and senior management levels of client organizations
• Implement the business development and sales plan as well as contribute to setting the strategic direction for the business architecture practice
• Build and develop trusted relationships as a strategic technology advisor with clients, and work internally across EY advisory teams to bring our clients the most comprehensive, end-to-end services and effectively address their business challenges.
• Building and growing TT Architecture practice, developing and maintaining client relationships, and selling and delivering work as an engagement leader or Subject Matter Specialist.
• Develop thought leadership and define approaches to provide structured solutions to complex technology strategy problems of clients, by recombining existing methodologies and teams
• Managing engagement teams and providing technical leadership in the assessment, design, and management of successful Business - IT transformation engagements in collaboration with our clients. They should provide high quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work, informing EY leadership of engagement status, and managing staff performance
• Help recruit, develop and retain strategy professionals, coach and mentor team members, deliver architecture-related training and take on other practice management tasks as needed (e.g., development of practice offerings)

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 
  BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA/MBA with a strong industry / sector-based experience
• Looking for Managers (with min of 10+ years), experience in following:
  • At least 8+ years of experience as ‘Business process architect’ in one or more business domains to develop L1/L2/L3 processes and workflows (front middle and back office, operations, supply chain, marketing, finance, HR, corporate functions, etc)

OR

• • At least 8+ years of ‘Tech + Business experience’ experience, having lived through multiple implementation projects in consulting / functional capacity, in sample roles like:
    • Business workflow analysis and process design lead
    • Business requirements and solution design lead
    • Product lead / platform manager
• Min. of 2-5 years of recent experience in Business-Tech Analyst roles
• Min. of 5+ years of specific industry / sector experience through completed client engagements related to business transformation
• Business / technology innovation experience having implemented emerging tech solutions leveraging power of combinatorial technologies AI/ML, Data Automation, Blockchain, IoT, etc
• Exposure across key technology domains is preferred (application, data, DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, network. security etc)

Ideally, you’ll also have experience driving client engagements related to:

The Candidate must have the ability to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements. Travel may be international.

The following are preferred, but not required:

• Advanced business and/or technology degrees (Masters, PhD)
• Experience in presenting directly to the C-Suite and explain complex concepts to anyone from an intern to a CFO, CHRO or CMO
• Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the strategic and improvement agenda.
• Speaking at industry conferences, round tables, and other public forums
• Authoring articles and white papers
• Demonstrated capability to drive sales and bring a network of client relationships to the firm
• Relevant industry certification (e.g., TOGAF Biz Architect, Business Process Framework (eTOM Practitioner of TMForum), AWS Cloud Certified etc.).
• Experience in tech strategy & solution architecture design (business architecture, process architecture, integration architecture, user experience, process improvement), advisory, project management, delivery and team management leading high performing teams or business analysis in full lifecycle technology engagements (i.e. you can scope out, plan, and deliver a project on time and on budget)

• Ability to identify opportunities and help generate sell-on work during client engagements by understanding a range services and offerings and coordinating with personnel in other service lines to help sell integrated solutions that meet client needs.
• Experience in creating points of view on relevant industry trends, solutions, methodologies, and analytical frameworks and tools to bring strategic perspectives to existing solutions.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of executive level clients and developing long-term trusted advisor relationships.
• Experience in building strong teams with a solid understanding of project management, industry content knowledge, and effective client communications.

Technical:

• Develop reference business architectures and technology blueprints based on business requirements
• Ability to identify technology opportunities, specify options, weigh implementation complexities and risks to make the right technical decision
• Experience with at least one Cloud Based Platform (Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity in Microservices, Containerization technologies (Docker etc) and developing systems in MVC or MVVM architecture.
• Experience guiding, designing and assisting in implementing Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with and good understanding of Business Process Management, Business Rules Management Systems, Complex Event Processing systems etc
• Experience in producing solution architecture diagrams, application interaction diagrams, solution blueprints, roadmaps, etc.
