Job Description

Responsibilities:As the head of ML, you will be responsible for managing the overall ML development life cycle from data collection to monitoring and hiring engineers in your teamYou will work and manage a cross-functional team. A cross-functional team consisting of researchers, ML engineers and Backend Engineers,Responsible for key technical and product decisions. Provide direction and mentorship to the team. Setup best practices for engineeringResponsible for driving good coding practices in the team like good quality code, documentation, timely bug fixing etcCreate and maintain an open and transparent environment that values speed and innovation, and motivates engineers to build innovative and effective systems rapidlyRequirements:Minimum 8 years experience in developing complex and responsive large-scale ML projects, with at least 3+ years experience in an individual contributor role in an ML based startupStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams with members from diverse backgroundsAttention to detail is the mostExperience in leading teams and using agile methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven record of strong leadership, management and communication skillsTech, skills & tools:programming languages (SQL, Python.), Machine Learning techniques (Neural Networks, Random Forest, etc.), Cloud computing (AWS, GCP) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.).Web frameworks like FlaskExperience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
