We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer responsible for the development, maintenance and upgrade of high growth and high traffic websites.  

Technical Requirement: 

• Excellent knowledge of core PHP 

• Hands on experience and expertise in custom theme development in WordPress 

• Hands on experience and expertise in pre-built theme customization 

• Being able to work with minimal usage of plugins 

• Skill and knowhow to build custom plugins as required will be preferred 

• Working knowledge of building custom designed websites with Visual Composer or other such page builders 

• Proficiency and hands-on knowledge on e-commerce websites using WooCommerce 

• Should be proficient with speed optimization of WordPress websites 

• Knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML 

• Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST) 

• Good Knowledge of version control system  

• Familiarity with AWS products are required with some hands-on working knowledge 

• Working knowledge of the common WordPress or web server exploits and their solutions 

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap 

• Knowhow of integration of multiple WordPress installations if required

• Developing dynamic and fully editable websites using the user-facing layout designs provided by front-end developers 

• Working on existing websites and web applications for further enhancement/addition of features 

• Upgrading and maintaining high-traffic WordPress websites with industry best practices 

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable codebase 

• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges 

• Creating user friendly back end for future website management by admin 

• Creating SEO friendly websites  

Experience Range: Minimum 2 years, ideally 3 – 5 years
