Job Description

The Center of Excellence (COE) team seeks an AI engineer to take on developing data-driven solutions aimed at continually improving the customer experience. The AI Engineer will be responsible for building proofs-of-concept and prototypes that can be used to demonstrate the impact of Artificial Intelligence that provide insights and analytics for business stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of AI/ML data modeling and design tools while performing model monitoring and calibration. The AI Engineer will also work with business stakeholders and present analysis to these business users in a digestible way. This individual will also collaborate with other AI Engineers and COE team to develop advanced analytics for complex business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of AI/ML models and tools (e. g., forecasting, optimization, performance, etc. )
• Collaborates with COE team and business owners to take a data-driven approach in identifying key customer pain points, uncover insights, and develop techniques to address these issues
• Detailed understanding of AI/ML techniques, calibrating and enhancing existing models, and monitoring model performance
• Leverage emerging technologies and identify efficient and meaningful ways to deliver meaningful insights to the business
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML data modeling, design tools, and business case delivery
• Presents analysis to business users in a digestible way

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of work/educational experience leading the development of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C/C++, Python, R or equivalent
• Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, sentiment analysis, classification, pattern recognition
• Development experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Microsoft CNTK, scikit, Keras, Caffe, Gluon, Torch, SageMaker, Azure AI
• Experience and familiarity with presenting to technical and business audiences
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
• Consistently makes the safety and security, of self and others, the priority
• Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools (e. g., SAS, R, TensorFlow) preferred
• Working knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MapReduce, etc. preferred
• Experience in designing data models for cloud-based solutions from leading cloud providers such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, etc.
• Self-motivated and take pride in building great experiences for users, whether they are employees or customers.
