Job Description

Requirements:

• 5 years hands-on experience working with Development and/or DevSecOps related technologies.
• Candidate must be solutions oriented, using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers.
• Candidate must be able to effectively navigate complex problems, listen to different perspectives, and come to a decision.
• Candidate should have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Additionally, candidate must be a self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and strong core Unix skills are required.
• Should have experience with Unix shell scripting.
• Good working knowledge of build automation and continuous integration/delivery ecosystem: Git, Kotlin, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Nexus.
• Extensive knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, Gitlab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards.
• Experience with AWS & Kubernetes.
• The successful candidate must be a self-motivator and be able to perform work with little guidance or instructions.
• Multiple tasks may be assigned which will require managing/prioritising.
• Knowledge and experience with the Travel Industry.
• Development background with experience in one of Java, Python, Node or other programming language.
• Knowledge and experience with Test Driven Development with a testing framework.
• Familiar with Version One, Jira, or other Agile tools.
• Experience with on-premise to cloud migrations or IT transformations.
• Should be well versed with the AWS well architected framework or TOGAF and able to apply those principles while designing a solution.
• Experience in optimising the cost for service being utilised in cloud.
• Thorough, in-depth knowledge of the Cloud (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) tooling landscape, and the various trade-offs involved with deciding what tools/services to use.
• Experience creating, implementing, and managing the development of scripts to automate everyday operations in cloud.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
