Role and Responsibilities:
Planning
- Detail Understanding of Factory assets, constraints, Bottlenecks for capacity demonstrated and nameplate
- Understanding of Skill matrix of Workforce on sections, Staff deployment, Upskilling opportunities
- Ability to understand and contribute to Factory Master Plan and Strategy Road map
- Ability to synchronize work centers for optimization of OPEX costs
- Prepare annual factory operating plan month level for forward 15 months based on rolling forecast from Central Planning, deployment of the same at weekly level and Co Lead adherence to the same in production
- Review ongoing weekly- daily scheduling for daily factory production operations, based on factory constraints and changes occurred planned /unplanned on the same
- Optimize plan to achieve Agility to respond to market changes however with optimized Factory OPEX of Run Sizes, make frequency, loss matrix between product recipe, pack sizes
- As Part of Site Leadership team contribute to Factory Roadmap, culture build and leadership team
- Own MRP and SAP routing & mapping of Production plan on all recipe and material codes
- Workout material requirement estimates and milk estimates in line with factory Weekly, monthly, and annual rolling plan as well as daily / weekly /monthly milk inflow requirements
- Lead and support new product transitions / introduction / scheduling its production runs/ RM & PM utilization and scheduling.
Warehousing
- Managing Factory Material Inflow, storage, and outflows for RM/PM/ FG
- Managing Factory Material Inflow for Indirect purchase materials
- Managing / ensuring stock keeping of stock able engineering spares.
- Managing dispatches and invoicing for milk sale, ghee sale, scrap sale and invoicing for any services rendered by factory
- Inventory management and material issuance for daily production operations.
- Transport management for outbound FG and miscellaneous sales
- Liaison with Factory finance for monthly / quarterly/ annual stock count and inventory adjustment and supply chain related audits.
Project/Activity management:
o Central point of contact for operation, coordinating operations-related tasks with project lead for all SAP master, planned trials, NPD and start of commercial activities related to Lalru
o Harmonizes and constantly improves ways of working in activities execution to achieve excellent in execution
o Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions
o Suggest, plan and Support in OE improvement plan on all Line through activities involvement with Plant Production and Engineering teams, be custodian of Capacity and Throughput improvement projects
o Support to optimize batch size/ Run size of both FG/SFG. (Productivity project)
Main Interfaces:
- Quality, Safety, Manufacturing/Operation Managers
- Corporate Supply Chain & Demand planning Team and SSD
Key Performance Indicators:
- Adherence to Capacity Planning outcome for forward 3 years and deployment for forward 12 months
- Plan delivery adherence of Site at weekly, Monthly level
- Utilization of Assets - Plan Vs Actual
- Limited Impact on Plant OPEX due to Planning changes within firm zone
- Export Readiness of Site as per Master Plan
- Safety Audit on Culture and Compliance for own team and Warehouses
About you
Job Specifications
- (Education): B Tech/ BE required, Post-Graduate in Industrial Engineering / Operations (preferred), experience of Food industry preferred
- (Experience): min 08 of experience production planning, Logistics and warehouse management, Experience of food industry Preferred
